Still no internet at home thus a brief update at work.

Fleet Week in San Fancisco brings the US Navy into the San Francisco Bay for some show off. Weird thing was that 4 of the 7 boats displayed were Canadian Navy boats! Nothing really big, a couple of destroyers and some mine sweepers. We didn't tour any of the boats, in fact we cursed them as they brought insane traffic into the north beach area making it difficult to move around.

Saturday we went to the "Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival" in Golden Gate Park. Very different to Canadian Bluegrass Festivals... 30,000 people spread over three stages listening to a who's-who of acoustic/alt-country music. We caught Gillian Welch / David Rawling - very very cool duo, brough out AmyLou Harris for spin back to "O brother where art thou?".

Meeting in San Mateo then out for some very nice Mexican food.
