Valentine's Day!

The boys were spoiled by their friends and they in turn had fun spoiling the girls as well. Bentley decorated the cookies for his 3 favourite girls and painted pictures for them!

Back in Vancouver

We had a relaxing Christmas Day together. Santa ate the cookies so that was a large topic of conversation in the morning! Bentley couldn't stop talking about it and had to tell everyone on the phone about the exciting event! We had snow so for some reason Bentley thought that a cowboy had was a suitable piece of clothing to wear. Must be the Albertan in him!

The rest of the week we unpacked and tried to get our house organised again. Then it was New Year's Eve. For the first time in a few years we all made it to midnight. It must have been the food and entertainment that kept us all up. I have to admit that we were the first to leave though!

Aaron is back at work in his new office and enjoying his new job. Now we are busy working on projects in the house. Its all back to the same old routine after our little break in San Francisco. It was fun and we miss our friends there but are also happy to be back home again.

Driving Home...

We left San Francisco on Dec. 21 heading home. With the boys we knew we wanted a more relaxing drive so we actually took 3 days to come home. The first night was in Mt. Shasta in Northern California - in the snow - a bit of a change for us! Then on to Portland for the next night and mtg. We met up with friends in Seattle for dinner and on to Everett to stay closer to home to meet up with the tenants at noon on Xmas Eve. The boys did well on the trip and Bentley managed to only get sick once... We sure hope he outgrows that annoying little problem. We now have all the necessary cleaning products to get him and the car all cleaned up after the events!

Our last adventure in San Fran!

While our car was being prepped for the long road home, the boys and I went for a walk along the water to say goodbye to the Golden Gate Bridge! It was a cool day but nice and sunny. Bentley had fun running in the sand and Ethan let the wind blow through his hair.

P & E Sliding

December 8-9 wkd

Glen and Amanda Pipke came to see us and their friends Steve and Aimee. We had a great time touring around our area and into the city to do some shopping. We started out on the first day at our little park up the big hill. Its a gorgeous little park and always sunny in the morning so it was a great place to start. Then to Pier 39 to see the sea lions and a break before getting on the cable car. Bentley says "cable car" so cute so he was recorded a few times saying it! Then to the city to shop and home for a great meal care of our local Italian deli. The next day we started at the Aquarium and then walked to the Ferry Terminal to look at the shops and market and to have lunch. We found a nice spot in the sun and enjoyed the warm weather. We'll miss these sunny days when we are back in Vancouver...
